Alexander is responsible for guiding the firm’s strategic vision and managing its investment sourcing, stakeholder management, and fundraising efforts. Prior to starting AGI Africa, he was a DCM analyst at Mizuho Securities USA, a Business Analysis Manager at Seadrill, an Investment Risk Manager at APG Asset Management, an Investment Manager at UFF Agri Asset Management, and a Consultant at The Boston Consultant Group (BCG).

Alexander has completed 7 transactions over the past five years in the energy, agriculture, and housing sectors. He has written over USD 2.8 billion in investment risk sign-offs.

Alexander holds an MAP from INSEAD, an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
